Our Post is named after Wallace Dale Bolin. He served in the Navy, died in 1969, and is buried in the IOOF cemetery just outside of town. Several of his relatives are in the Mount Vernon Community.
All veterans meeting the VFW standards of membership are welcome to join Post 4541. We are focused on serving other veterans and our community, and find satisfaction in that service and the comradery of other veterans.
We need the participation and input from all generations of military service, and female and younger vets will find opportunities for leadership here.
