Charles Allen Moore, 56, of Springfield, Missouri was called home to Heaven on Friday October 14, 2022. He was born in Lockney, Texas on October 22, 1965 the son of the late Leonard Charles and Dorothy (Newton) Moore. He was united in marriage on August 14, 2016 in Aurora, Missouri to Cecilia Cook; she preceded him in death on January 18, 2018.

He was a mechanic by trade as well as serving his country in the United States Army in Afghanistan. He was of Baptist faith and a member of the Mt. Vernon VFW Post 4541.

Charles is survived by one step-daughter: Almeda Nichole Mejiah Miranda of Kansas City, Kansas and four sisters: Debra Moore of Springfield, Donna Pritchard of Mt. Vernon, Pam Compton of Springfield and Darla Brooks of Springfield.

Memorial donations for Charles may be made to the Kansas City Fisher House.
